Harivilāsa
Harivilāsa is another important work by the Sanskrit poet Lolambarāja. It is a shorter poem consisting of 84 verses, and is dedicated to the god Viṣṇu, who is also known as Hari. In Harivilāsa, Lolambarāja describes various aspects of the god’s life, such as his birth, his many incarnations, and his interactions with other deities and mortals. The poem also touches on themes of devotion, love, and the ultimate nature of reality.
Harivilāsa is noted for its lyrical beauty and its use of vivid imagery to convey complex philosophical ideas. Like the Sākṣi-gopāla-viraha-kāvya, it is written in the kāvya style, which emphasizes intricate wordplay, metaphor, and allusion. Today, Harivilāsa is considered an important work of devotional poetry within the Hindu tradition, and is still studied and appreciated by scholars of Sanskrit literature
